CAB-i-NET Browser

With the optional CAB-i-NET Browser module you have access from anywhere to information in the document storage repositories. Search and retrieve documents and perform advanced document management tasks from remote locations, satellite offices, or while travelling. Security is maintained through access credentials, giving employees who travel, external offices, customers, vendors, suppliers, and those who are authorized, the ability to collaborate and be involved in information procedures.

Any combination of rules and criteria can be employed to determine which documents become available via CAB-i-NET Browser; i.e only Issued or only version 1 issued, etc.

The software runs using Internet Information Server (IIS™) and is licensed on a per user basis. The interface can be tailored to give users a very simple navigation tree so they can find documents easily. This can even pre-populate search parameters such as keywords, parts of drawing numbers giving the users the ability to quickly locate the document for viewing.

CAB-i-NET Browser will automatically enable the viewing of the released image file in PDF™, DjVu™, Tiff™, etc., by automatically hyper-linking the document number once at an appropriate stage to be viewed. This saves any manual intervention or additional processing, and therefore means immediate release of the data, for example, to manufacturing personnel or installation engineers.

CAB-i-NET Browser could be used by anybody who requires access to search, view, and print not only current design documents but also historical archive information. This is more cost effective than equipping the casual users with a full CAB-i-NET Explorer licence.
