CAB-i-NET Email Server
Storage of emails within the business can prove tricky with even the best laid plans. PST files on users machines, multiple copies of the same emails, out of date copies, etc.
CAB-i-NET Email Server removes this level of chaos from your organisation by providing a simple and easy to use alternative. CC an email address and send your email to store Sent Mail, forward incoming mail to an email address to store it. It’s as Simple as that.
The CAB-i-NET Email Server is a Windows™ service that runs in the background and listens for incoming emails and, upon receiving one, stores it into the CAB-i-NET Explorer system.
The service is highly configurable and allows certain emails to represent certain folders. So for instance, firstname.lastname@example.org could store in the Alpha folder in CAB-i-NET Explorer, and email@example.com could store in (for a more complex example) the “Projects\Contractor A\Outgoing\Emails” folder.
The primary use for this system is to retain business communications and critical files that are sent through electronic means. Simply carbon-copy (CC) CAB-i-NET into communications and you can store them safely for future viewing.
