CAB-i-NET Workflow Publisher

CAB-i-NET Workflow Publisher automatically creates a PDF™ image of the Microstation™, AutoCAD™ or Word file™ (using the native application) as it passes through the workflow.

This allows users to review and approve the drawing/document without needing the native application on the reviewing workstation. Emails are also sent as part of the workflow module and access to an SMTP™ email server will be required on the Customer’s network.

CAB-i-NET Explorer can be configured at any point in the Workflow to submit requests into the Publisher to create a PDF™ of the drawing. This can then be reviewed during the rest of the workflow without needing expensive CAD applications like Microstation™, AutoCAD™, etc.

The software also has the ability on final approval to update the title block text/insert the Approver’s name, date, etc., live from the CAB-i-NET database prior to producing the final PDF™. In effect, this is like digitally signing the document.
